The SICT Foundation currently focuses on developing projects such as the creation of cell preparations, particulary to repair tissue (epithelial dressings for the skin) or to compensate for the failing organs (eg. Pancreatic beta cells for diabetes), or, conversely, to kill tumors (anti-tumor immunotherapy using encapsulated cells).
Il also plans to create a storage GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in cell banks for therapeutic use (ie. Amniotic membranes, ovarian tissue, skin fibroblast cell, etc.), as well as assistance and training for the establishment of clinical trials.
The creation of cellular dressings in biomatrices to repair tissues :
Storage and culture of different types of stem cells in GMP conditions for future therapeutic use (eg. Lines pluripotent stem cells, bone marrow of adult stem cells or adipose tissue, condrocytes, etc.).
Assistance and training for the implementation of clinical trials.
